DISTRICT TAB - SKYWARD FAMILY ACCESS - ATTENDANCE - ABSENCE NOTIFICATION
Login into Skyward Family Access. Under the District General Information tab - click on the Attendance link. To add a notification, select the Add Notification button. A new screen displays where you can enter the date range that the student will be out, the times, the reason, and a comment. Click the Save button to send the request to the school. Click the Cancel button to ignore the request.
If a student already has Absence Notifications for the school year, they are listed by date. The status of each request is displayed with the request record. If a request has not been processed by the school the Edit and Delete buttons are available. The delete button will remove the request. The Edit button will allow you to modify any of the information in the request. If a request has already been processed by the school, it cannot be edited or deleted.
Click the View History button to view Historical Absence Notifications.
