B. A. Kennedy CARES!

Cooperation
Assertion
Responsibility
Empathy
Self-Control

Our goal is to make sure that B.A. Kennedy is a safe, caring place where learning is possible for everyone.

We believe that in order to reach this goal, we must all agree to the following:

We will not let children, behaviors, or any conrollable interruption disrupt learning.
We will organize our shared spaces so they are welcoming, purposeful and peaceful.
We will practice the behaviors that exemplify CARES (Cooperation, Assertion, Responsibility,                            Empathy, and Self-Control)

We believe that most students can learn to work independently and safely with the self-control necessary to participate in classroom activities.  We also know that social skills and work habits are learned and developed throughout our lives.  We will teach and practice these skills all year long.

BAK students donated money to the Beat Childhood Cancer Research Fund.  Please click on the link below to read more about how we were able to help out!

Childhood Cancer Research Donation Letter

B.A. Kennedy staff and students gathered to present Kathy Reynolds and Shelly Gruber from 3M thank you cards.  Students were seated in the shape of "3M" on the multipurpose room floor.  B.A. Kennedy was fortunate to receive the school supply donation this year, which donated $6,490.00 worth of goods to our school.  This effort, in combination with the efforts of the PTO and others, allow for our school supplies to continue to be of no cost to our students!  A special thanks goes out to 3M for all they do for our schools and community.
