Student of the Month

Prairie du Chien Kiwanis Club Sponsoring the Terrific Kids Program at Bluff View

Bluff View Intermediate School  is pleased to announce the beginning of a Student of the Month/Terrific Kids program in grades 2-4 and grades 5-8, which is being sponsored by the Prairie du Chien Kiwanis Club. The Prairie du Chien Kiwanis members want to help young students succeed in school, therefore, this program is designed to recognize students for displaying strong character traits, being involved in their school, maintaining a good grade point average, and just being terrific kids.

Each month, one student from grades 2-4 & one student from grades 5-8 will be chosen by the staff at Bluff View Intermediate School to be recognized as Terrific Kids.  To be eligible, the students must have a good grade point average, be involved in school activities, display good character traits, and must not have any infractions.  A student is only eligible to receive the reward one time while in each particular age group.  For example, if a student were to receive the award while in 2nd grade, this student would not be eligible to receive the award again until they were in 5th grade.

The students receiving this recognition will be invited to be a guest at a PDC Kiwanis Club Golden Ruler luncheon.  The Golden Ruler presentation is where the PDC Kiwanis Club recognizes the Students of the Month from the senior class.  Along with the lunch provided, these students will receive small token gifts & a certificate from the PDC Kiwanis club.  Recipients of the award will have their picture posted on a recognition board which will be located in Bluff View School.
