Hi. I was born in the UP of Michigan; I am an Air Force brat. I moved to Wisconsin when I was 4. We lived in PdC until we bought a farm near Mt Sterling and I became a Seneca Indian. Go, Blue! After I graduated I went to UW-Platteville, got a teaching job in Clinton, IA, and taught English, advised yearbook, coached cheerleading, coached a few freshmen sports until I moved back to PdC. Here I have taught all high school grades over the years, advised Student Council and Political Science Club, coached forensics and even advised Skills USA for a year. Go, Hawks!
I have degrees from Drake University and UW-Platteville. I have attended 12 colleges in the process of keeping my teaching license current. This winter I will be adding college #13 as I enter UW-Whitewater to pursue certifications to teach Southwest Technical College courses in English and Communications. I still love learning after all of these years; in fact, I've never left school.
I currently have many fur children: 4 cats and 2 dogs who bring a lot of fun into my life (notice the cat photo bomb). I love reading (of course!), gardening, day trips, movies and anything with salt. My future plans include seeing whales, winning the lottery and retiring to read even more!
