Prairie du Chien is a comprehensive high school (grades 9-12) with approximately 500 students. The administrative staff consists of Mr. Andy Banasik, Principal, Mrs. Jennifer Gallagher, Assistant Principal, and Mrs. Frances Mezera, Activities Director. Mrs. Stephanie Foster heads the Guidance Department which provides counseling services. The faculty at Prairie du Chien numbers 39 with several of the staff having a master degree.

 

Prairie du Chien High School operates from a 4-Period Day. In this system the students must be in classes 3 to 3 ½ periods. All students, in order to be eligible to participate in the graduation ceremony, must have met all graduation requirements as stipulated. Any student who fails to meet the graduation requirements will not be eligible to participate in the graduation ceremony.
