I grew up in the New London, WI area and graduated from New London Senior High School in 1988. I then attended UW-Eau Claire for three years. After taking a little time off from college, I continued my college education at UW-Stevens Point where I graduated with a major in physics education and a minor in chemistry in the spring of 1997. That summer I was hired by the Prairie du Chien School District to teach and I have been here ever since. I attended classes through UW-LaCrosse to get my master's degree in education in the spring of 2002. Currently I am attending online classes through Texas A&M - Commerce to get a master's equivalency in physics.
I am married with two lovely daughters. My eldest daughter is married and lives here in Prairie du Chien. She has a son. My youngest daughter attends school at Prairie Christian Academy. I am actively involved at Bible Baptist Church, where I attend. I also try to be active in my daughter's sports activities. I love the beauty of this area! This is absolutely one of the most beautiful areas of the country.
