UPCOMING EVENTS:

ACT practice sessions

Although the juniors will be taking the ACT as a class in March, there are quite a few students taking the test in December.

Departments have been working on organizing "practice seminars."   These seminars are free to students who would like to come.

  • November 30th...6:30-8:30...Math (videos segments created by math dept.
  • December 7th...6:30-8:30...Science (instructor TBD)

Seminars will be again held closer to the March date.  For anyone interested in these first samples, you need to sign up so that enough information is available.  Respond to this email to be recorded for the events.

Superior Preparation for College and Career Readiness

Prairie du Chien High School offers a wide variety of curriculum for the college and career bound student. The goal of PdCHS is to provide every student with an individual plan that fits the career and college goals of the student. Students can choose from 19 Advanced Placement courses, PLTW (Project Lead the Way) courses in the engineering and medical fields, youth apprenticeship, youth options, and a variety of electives. PdCHS students (all are required to participate) score consistently higher than the state average on the ACT.  According to US News, PdCHS is ranked among the best high schools in the nation.  PdCHS students can round out their high school career with many co-curricular activities and clubs.
