About Mighty River Academy of Virtual Education
The Mighty River Academy of Virtual Education is located within the Prairie du Chien Area School District. Our program is a tuition free virtual learning program open to all Wisconsin students in grades Kindergarten through 12.
MRAVE offers a standard-based online curriculum, a flexible schedule allowing students to choose their time and place for learning, and individualized help from both the online teacher and the local education guide. There are also several different enrollment options, which are based on student and family needs.

MRAVE partners with K12 to offer high quality challenging interactive courses that align to the Department of Public Instruction State standards for our students. Viable course options for our students include:

HOW TO ENROLL
- Students must have approved open enrollment agreements from both schools.
- Complete an application with the Department of Instruction for online programming at http://dpi.wi.gov/.
- Once the forms are received, it will then be determined if enrollment in the Prairie du Chien Area School District is in the best interest of your child and you will be contacted accordingly.
- Complete all relevant student registration materials with the Prairie du Chien Area School District.
- Once the application has been approved, students and parents will meet with school personnel to develop an online learning plan to best meet the child's needs!
